Rex Anderson, Jr., MD
Co-CEO, Cenegenics Dallas-Ft. Worth
Current Office Location: Dallas

Dr. AndersonDr. Rex Anderson, Jr. received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. After a mixed medicine internship, he completed a residency program in neurology at the University of Utah College of Medicine in Salt Lake City, Utah. Afterward, he spent two years in the armed forces and then established a neurology practice.

Throughout his 30 years of neurological practice, Dr. Anderson evidenced a large variety of acute neurological and chronic degenerative diseases. In some cases, modern medicine had only palliative treatment measures, rather than medications effecting real improvement and healing.

He realized the best treatment was prevention. Taking a proactive approach, he founded the NeuroMedical Institute for Age Management in Dallas, focused on preventing degenerative diseases before they occur. Also, he completed Physician Training & Certification in Age Management Medicine, jointly sponsored by Cenegenics Education and Research Foundation (CERF) and the Foundation for Care Management (FCM).

As a result, Dr. Anderson became a Cenegenics® Medical Institute physician affiliate because of their extensive experience in age management medicine, evidence-based approach, emphasis on continued education and research as well as their strong insistence on medical excellence and quality patient care.

In 2008, he partnered with Cenegenics and Dr. Paul D. Thompson to establish a progressive-edge medical center, Cenegenics Dallas-Ft. Worth.

With years of neurological practice, Dr. Anderson has a particular interest in helping patients maintain the best possible brain function. His evaluations include a complete neurological examination and cognitive function tests. These studies are followed on a regular basis to detect any early decline, which can be treated aggressively to preserve maximal mental function.

"I've always liked being on the cutting edge of medicine. This kind of practice is definitely the new frontier, unique in its scope and methods. My approach to medical treatment has always been, and always will be, extremely proactive. Individuals who are candidates for this type of health-maintenance treatment have a long-term view of their health goals—maintaining good health, vitality and an optimal quality of life. The rewards for a patient committed to this type of treatment program can be tremendous.”

Paul D. Thompson, MD, FACS
Co-CEO, Cenegenics Dallas-Ft. Worth
Current Office Location: Ft. Worth

Dr. ThompsonDr. Paul D. Thompson is a board-certified urologist and a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of the American Medical Association, Missouri Medical Society and American Urology Association.

After earning an undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri at Kansas City, he graduated from the University of Missouri at Kansas City Medical School in 1981. Seven years later, he completed a residency in urology at the University of Louisville in Kentucky.

In 1988, Dr. Thompson established a private urology practice in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, which he maintained until 2007. He also was a cofounder and board member of the U.S. Medical Development Service Company, designed to serve physicians in lithotripsy, radiation treatment centers and hospitals.

At Southeast Missouri Hospital, he was Chief of Surgery for four years as well as Chief of Staff and head of their Credential Committee.

Dr. Thompson always believed in a proactive medical approach, but wasn’t sure how to accomplish that until his own health issues led him to Cenegenics® Medical Institute, the recognized leading authority in age management medicine. There, he experienced a new paradigm in medicine—one diametrically different from the one he knew as a surgeon, which was pharmaceutical-based with a wait-for-an-illness-than-operate mentality.

“After I went through the extensive Executive Health Evaluation process and evidenced the benefits of the program, I was impressed. My health improved tremendously, which ultimately changed my life. I saw a real opportunity to help other people become—and stay—healthier. I knew I wanted to be involved with this unique medical specialty.”

Dr. Thompson became trained in the field, completing Physician Training & Certification in Age Management Medicine, jointly sponsored by Cenegenics Education and Research Foundation (CERF) and the Foundation for Care Management (FCM).

Later, he partnered with Cenegenics and Dr. Rex Anderson, another Cenegenics-trained/certified age management medicine physician, to offer the Dallas-Ft. Worth area next generation medicine.

Dr. Thompson is married and has two children. His outside interests include golf and cutting horses, an equestrian sporting event in the Western riding style.
